Water in sterile cup

1. Aseptically collect 10mL (minimum volume 1mL) of water in a screw-capped, sterile container.

2. Label container with hospital location, date and actual time of collection, source of water (instrument name) and type of specimen.

3. Be sure lid is secure so container will not leak during transit.

4. Maintain sterility and forward promptly.
