Preferred: Red top- no gel

Specimen Volume: 2.0 mL
 

Collection Instructions:

Clean venipuncture site well with Betadine (NOT alcohol) prior to collection. Mix tube well after collection.

Do NOT collect in gel barrier tube

Keep specimen container tightly sealed.

Red-top tubes should be fully clotted, centrifuged and aliquoted within 2 hours of collection.
