Collection Instructions:
Do not centrifuge CSF. Send refrigerated or frozen. Blood contamination and hemolysis may interfere with results. CSF must be clear.
Submitting 4th lumbar puncture collection tube minimizes blood contamination.
Unacceptable: Xanthochromia/RBCs/hemolysis in CSF
