14-3-3 Serum- will be sent to RML (now Labcorp Oklahoma)- Specimen Requirement Link.

14-3-3 CSF - will be sent to the National Prion Disease Pathology Surveillance Center.  Testing will include RT-Quic, 14-3-3y(ELISA) and Total TAU (ELISA). Please inlcude Page 3/Clinical History and Findings with the sample. 

Specimen Required

Container/Tube:
Preferred: Sterile aliquot
Specimen Volume: 2.0 mL (1.0 mL minimum)

Processing Instructions:

• The first 2 mL of CSF should NOT be used for this test. 
• Avoid bloody sample.
• Sample should be frozen immediately.
• Ship frozen, on dry ice. 

Transport:

Please note: shipments are not received on the weekends and/or holidays.  Ship only on Monday through Thursday (priority overnight).
